James 4:8 (AMP) - " Come close to God and He will come close to you"
Don't just give God your updated "shopping list" each day. Spend "real time" with Him. Requests are good, it's important to ask but don't just place an "order" & run away.
Spend time with Him like you would with a spouse, parent or close friend.
We need to have a dialogue, not just a monologue. Learn to listen. Invest time.
