JOSHUA 9, PSALM 14, PROVERBS 3:19,20
JOSHUA 9 - John Maxwell talks about negotiation & compromise. Israel negotiated with the Gibeonites & ignored God's order to destroy the city. Negotiation is not wrong in itself, but we must never negotiate our convictions, direct orders or core values. When we negotiate these, we compromise our mission.
v.9 - How great it would be to hear people testify of God's fame that they have heard of from far away, and they are drawn to it. I don't just mean geographically.
PSALM 14:1 - It's a sad reality that many say "There is no God". The evidence of God is in & around our lives (creation). Take some time to meditate & marvel at the complexity of the human body. There is a God - He is our Maker!
v.2 - When God looks down at His Creation, may He find people who acknowledge Him & worship Him. May He not need to look far.
v.5 - God is in the generation of the righteous. We can influence this generation for right. We have a testimony.
