1 Thess 4:13-18
v.18 (MSG) - Reassure one another with these words
v.14 - Jesus died & broke loose from the grave.
When Jesus returns, the dead will rise first (v.15) & the rest who are still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet Jesus (v.17)
v.18 - There will be one huge family reunion with Jesus
WHO ARE YOU TAKING TO THE PARTY?
Psalm 11 - We shouldn't flee. God hasn't changed His Holy address - He is still in control, seated on His HeavenlyThrone.
It's time to take God at His Word!
v.7 - Upright men will see His Face. Access to the King's Throne. His presence.
Proverbs 3:11,12
Don't resent God's discipline & loving correction. It's the child God loves that He corrects, a father's delight is behind all this.
How much more is this understandable & real to me since having kids!
Sometimes when I am correcting/disciplining (which of course is motivated out of love) I often sense a reminder of a similar situation with me & God & how it is because the Father loves me!
